Purity

The world lacks purity...big time.
People marry people for their money, people hunt for jobs which pay more, people make friends on the name of wanting mutual favours.
If you look around and try and spot the purity you will find where purity prevails everything follows, everything which the rest of the world runs after.
If you find a job just because you purely love doing it with all your soul there are very good chances that you will automatically be paid a lot for it. It may not come instantly but when it will, it will really come.
Marry a person just because you purely love the person and nothing else( by love i do not mean need) and you will have the best marriage ever.
Do stuff more purely than ever not for the results but because you love the process and the effort being put into it and there is no way way to lead a more fulfilling life.
It's magical the way things work then.

Marriage and job are entirely different concepts and it would be amateurish to link them both with your concept of purity.
Quote Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Unquote is what governs our life.....at least in a country like ours where survival is the biggest issue. Or, it was until the previous decade. The choices made by the previous generation were mostly for survival........ and that largely explains why a large proportion of middle class youth had been brain-washed to go the engineering/medical/MBA way.
However, it seems our nation is moving up the triangle, towards the self-realization goal. But the credit goes to our families for bringing us to the level where we can think beyond our daily bread and butter and pursue our dreams. But really doesn't apply to families where the only son/daughter in the family is supposed to earn a livelihood.
Some choices are based on circumstances........and that has to be respected.
Twenty years down the line, we can have a generation of Howard Roark(S) in our nation.......but that will only be if our nation moves further up the triangle and not only us. There is a fine line that divides self-realization and self-interest and the onus is on us to balance ourselves on it.
